Bitcoin Co-op

The Bitcoin Co-op was established in 2012 by regular attendees of the Bitcoin Vancouver Meetup group: “We are a democratic organization for the advancement of Bitcoin, a revolutionary new form of money. Driven by Bitcoin’s underlying ideals of freedom, security and entrepreneurship, we educate the public and provide various related services.”

The Bitcoin Co-op co-founder, Adam Soltys developed CoinOS, a point-of-sale (POS) that anyone can use to get a free Bitcoin account to take payments.

Vancouver has been a hub for grassroots Blockchain outreach since 2013, with organizations such as Coinfest, DCTRL and the Bitcoin Coop. Learn more at our Blockchain Hangouts with Blockchain Meetups and Blockchain Companies in Vancouver, Canada.
